Road Gutters Along Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani Cleaned

Cempaka Putih Sub-district Bina Marga Unit cleaned up mud and garbage that clogged several road gutters along Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Rawasari Urban Village and Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village.
We also collaborate with PPSU personnel to keep the road gutters clean
Cempaka Putih Sub-district Bina Marga Unit Head, Reza Febiyanto mentioned, cleaning is carried out to optimize water flow from the road to channels in order to minimize inundation, especially when heavy rain falls. It is one of programs to prevent inundation and flooding.
Jakarta BPBD Warned about Peak Rainfall"Cleaning is carried out along sidewalk of Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, west side of Jalan Pramuka intersection to Coca Cola intersection on Jalan Suprapto for along 3.2 kilometers," he informed, Friday (10/8).
His side has started the cleaning work since October 4, 2021 and estimated it to be completed next week. So far, there are 13 road gutters that have been cleaned. The road gutters are in form of 6 inch PVC pipe with length varying from 3 to 5 meters.
"We deploy 6 personnel for this cleaning. Every day our personnel clean 2-3 road gutters because of large amount of mud and garbage in each spots. After cleaning the area, we hope there will be no more garbage that clog the gutters. We also collaborate with PPSU personnel to keep the road gutters clean," he said.
